Young Frankenstein

We saw the Broadway version of Young Frankenstein last weekend and it was GREAT! I remember seeing the movie a long time ago so pretty much remembered the plot but the musical production was so much better! The actors and actresses were perfect choices for their roles. What I like best is that it was very comical instead of being so serious like a lot of plays can be. There is a song called "The Brain" that you should totally you-tube or google to watch when you have a few extra minutes, that was my favorite.

Anyway, always fun to have a night out on the town. I highly recommend this if it comes your way!
P.S. It was a bit racy in some parts so I don't know that I would bring kids but it makes a great date night :)

A Regular Martha Stewart

So I feel accomplished. We FINALLY got around to finishing some decorating projects last weekend. And I have to give major props to my sweetie. It seems we have a regular Martha Stewart (or at least a Nancy West) on our hands. This guy can craft like no other. He loves nothing more than breaking out his glue gun and he even set up the sewing machine and sewed all of the patches on his scout shirt.
Anyway, Ryan took charge and applied all the vinyl lettering and hung all the pictures. I'm a bit too neurotic and impatient to do it so I'm very proud of him for making our home look just a little cuter.

I painted these like ummm...2 years ago and they are just now going on the wall. Oh well, they add a nice touch to the hallway

How freakin adorable is this?! I found the saying and frames and we had a ball choosing "baby pictures" to put in them. This is in our room above our bed

This is a few weeks late but while I'm on the topic of raving about my husband I can't forget to mention that we celebrated his 29th birthday on the 19th. 29! I can't believe he's gonna be 30 next year! We love you though Daddy!!
...even with your shaggy hair :)
